I was waiting for a heavier gis but they weren’t available in my size so I got academy gis which are very light. I wear Tatami in A2, 77kg, 172sm muscular build. A1L in Progress fitted me to my surprise. The gi sleeves were a bit long and the width of the sleeve is a little too wide for my taste. Love the bright blue color. Pants are nice and slim. These will be my summer and comp gis.
AustraliaThe Gi seems like decent quality, the sizing was bang on and it is relativly light to wear. My only gripe is the free academy white belt is very thin compared to most on the market. Great reaponse from the team with any questions, postage was really quick. I am super happy all round and will probably purchase another one if i decide to stick with it.

Have owned various gi brands over the years and I was **** looking for an extra gi for summer training. I am 175cm tall 88kg and size A2 fits great. Jacket has a nice cut, I sometimes find A2 can be a bit tight on the shoulders but very happy with this gi. Rip stop pants very light weight and comfortable. Although jacket is 375gsm, doesn't stretch when sweating and rolling. Have worn a few times now and only minimal shrinkage after washing and no loose stitching. Will definitely buy Progress again
